i think it`s big blow for MU.. Sir Alex ferguson never expect his young team can be failed in this champions league.. i think i never heard that MU is failed in group stage.. so it`s history for Sir alex ferguson for city, it proves that money is not everything for them they had bough many players, but it`s useless for them

Man city ought to be out of the Champion's league because many of their players only has the calibre to play league games. What makes a world class team depends a lot on the entire squad, not just on a player. When Man city buys individual players, they are only encouraging selfish plays and with that, they can never succeed in Europe. As for Man United, i think they are too complacent and now they are paying the price for it by playing in the Europa league.

The problem with Man Utd lies in their defence and midfield. Ferdinand and Vidic is no longer the force they used to be. As for midfield, they are lacking creativity. The likes of Carrick, Fletcher, Anderson and co, they are more of a harasser. The only one who fits the bill is Cleverly who is currently out injured. For Man City, they lack the experience playing in Europe biggest league. While they might have good individuals, collectively they are short. During the early years, Man Utd struggle in the Champions League. They gained experience as they move along until they finally won it.

city maybe must learn the experience.. the problem is experience can`t be bought like a player.. they can buy Sergio Aguerro..but can`t buy experience

This is what I wanted to happen and it happened. I would really wanted to see the sheik's face after his team was knocked out from the Champions League, even with making the competition unfair, as they have spent way more than they have produced. That is the real place of City, the Europa League. As for Manchester United, I think they would have recovered to the second part of the season and they would have been a strong candidate to reach the final. The elimination of them means that Bayern will avoid a strong opponent later on in the competition, so more chances for Bayern to reach the final.
