Do you know, There will be ANOTHER SEQUEL of The Lord of the Rings??

I just got shocked when hearing this news.. Oh my God, My favorite 'The Lord of the Rings' will be back soon. I'm so happy for that. There will be two movies titled 'The Hobbit'. Actually it's the prequels of the first three movies.. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will soon be showing in theaters in 2012, and the The Hobbit: There and Back Again will be in 2013.
But I think the main actor will be changed, I mean it's not Elijah Wood anymore who will be the main actor, because mainly it's about Bilbo Baggins..
Can't wait to watch it..

I am pretty sure that there will be no more sequels, as there are no more books. Everyone knew the hobbit was coming eventually. I'm just glad the same director got the job.

So they are going to release The Hobbit as a film too. Actually i'm not really excited with this film since the main characters are not the same as The Lord of the Rings's characters anymore, but i'm still going to watch it. ^_^
At least, i hope the old characters from The Lord of the Rings can make a cameo appearence here so all the Lord of the Rings' fans will be happy.

I think Tho Hobbit will be great too like The Lord of the Rings since it's directed by the same director. But one thing that I still have question about, the story actually happened before the lord of the rings. But the characters will be seemed older. LOL, but I can't wait to watch it.. ^_^

Yes you are right my friend. The Hobbit is going to release this year in december. The first trailer of the movie is out. I think the movie will be just epic. The lord of the rings trilogy is my all time favourite and I was also just speechless when I heard that there will be another one in the series. Its a prequel about how Bilbo Baggins, frodo's father got the ring in the first place and how he hid it from Souren. Peter Jackson has done a great job with the first three parts and I think He will be better this time. I have a lot of hope from this movie.

its a prequel actually. The focus was the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, the uncle of Frodo. The villain in the movie is a dragon named Smaug. Smaug was just voted as the richest fictional character by Forbes magazine. This dragon is even richer than Bruce Wayne of Batman and Tony Stark of Iron Man.

me too!! I'm so surprise when hearing the news about " The Hobbit " .the movie premier will be on december,I'm just so enthusiast about it.I'm really expecting this movie will be awesome just like TLOTR since it's still from the same director.really can't wait to watch it..!

For some strange reason, the premiere is two days earlier in Norway than in the UK. I had planned to see it with my friends in London, now I think I might see it on Wednesday here and on Saturday in London.
I don't think Wednesday is the day we normally have premieres so I can really think of a reason why they do it like that. Maybe to tease the Brits? :-)

The Lotr is over. The author however, Tolkien was a genious and before that he wrote The Hobbit, that's what the movie is about and the main carachter is Frodo's uncle, you are right the carachter will change, it will be Bilbo, we saw him in Lotr as an old Hobbit, now we'll see him younger and the adventure is on him, 13 Dwarves and Gandalf.
Elrond, Galadriel, Legolas, and Saruman are also back!

wow, i didn't know until i saw this discussion. really? great! i also love the lord of the rings. i am a fan. great movie! can't wait to watch it, too! even if it's the prequel of the movie, i think it will still be interesting to know how everything started. :-)

Yeah, I heard of it and actually saw the Trailer. It's nice that they dont stop making films related to the lord of the rings since it is one of the best films that ever made.

So we can call this Lord of the ring reloaded. The characters of the film LOTR were great. The showed originality and first touch. It was filled with suspense as one held his breathe on to expect in the next scene. But with coming of the new film 'The Hobbit', and Froddo changed as the main character, I hope it will give us this thirst of lord of the rings. I will be worth watch since some of characters in LOTR wikk feature in it.
