Janelle Manahan

I partially watched Janelle Manahan's interview in the Buzz. Janelle Manahan finally got the attention of the entire nation. She has not been active for so long in showbiz but I still remember her from the Star Circle Quest 1. I admire the way she handled herself during the time she was shot - calm, conscious, and most of all she knew what she did during that time she was facing death. Luckily for her, her phone's battery was not totally drained. Thankfully she survived but the pain of the tragedy would be so great especially that her boyfriend of about 5 years, Ramgen, did not make it. The world is full of dangers. Even siblings fight because of the love of money. If I was in Janelle's position, I wouldn't know what to do. What would you do if you were in her position?

I watch the video now from youtube. I feel sad for her. I feel the pain that she's encountering right now. Its hard to lose someone that we love for a very long period of time.. And im admiring her because of her strength.

So true. It's hard to lose someone that you loved for a very long time. Janelle lost Ramgen in a tragic and brutal way which made it even more harder to move on. Thanks, bubuth, for the comment.

Watched it as well and I feel sorry for her losing her love of her life. But then I admire her for the courage she took in her ordeal. I think she is indeed a very brave lady forcing herself to act on herself when she realized that help is not coming from Ramgen's sister. I can feel the pain she has gone through calling everybody she knows and using every energy left in her body. I guess she was intelligent enough to use her strength and never gave up on life. I think this should become an inspiration for surviving and fighting for our dear life.

I really hope not to be inher position. Losing someone is painful enough, and to lose that person you love when you were faced in the same danger was even harder to bear - i would say. I am sure she is really a very strong woman, i did not know she was with ramgen (gf) but im glad she still is in the circle of showbusiness... =) I remember her, seeing the footages they showed of her and of her days when she was just auditioning for star cicrle. No one even asked how she is now. You were right, maybe her being aware of the situation, and knowing how to react or act in the situation saved her life... I just hope that she gets better and the whole truth would come out. A life has been lost, and hers nearly gone too. but God has his ways...

I agree, chiyosan. Janelle's situation is so painful and difficult but as you have said, she is a very strong woman who will be able to get through all these. Thanks for sharing your thoughts :)

It is hard to explain or just say that I would do this and that if I haven't experience the same thing as hers. But of course I will try my best to survive and help my boyfriend as well as much as I can. Then if I am facing the trials to seek for my boyfriend's justice then I will not communicate with Ramgen's family during the investigation.

You're right. It's hard to say what we could have done if we are in her position. This has been happening also to other people but in different ways and situations. I hope the courage and wisdom we see in Janelle while in that situation should serve as an example - not to give in to panic - in order to have a chance in surviving. Thanks, Metatronik, for replying.

I wasn't able to watch her interview. And I also remember watching her in SCQ. In fact she was one of my favorites there because I really like her simple beauty. If I would be in her position I would do the same thing she did. I will be brave for Ramgen and myself. I admire her courage that she still managed to get help from her friends using her phone even though she already got hurt.

She's one of my favorites, too :) I just wonder how she was able to talk even if she got shot already in the face (I think the bullet went through her mouth). She was able to ask Mara/Ramona to get some help. And she was also asthmatic, so she did right in staying calm. If it were me, I would have fainted with the sight of too much blood. Thanks, enelym :)

It is only through this Ramgen case that I learned about Janelle and I sympathize with her for losing someone she loved so much and getting physically hurt at that. Janelle has endured a lot of pain not only physically but emotionally. This is one moment in her life that she will not be able to forget though I certainly wish that she will recover and find a good career and someone to love again. This story is worse than all the telenovelas put together because of greed and avarice. Janelle will be able to shed some light into these issues that I wish she gains her strength and health back so that she will be able to put the culprits in prison. If not for anything else, she owes in to Ramgen to tell the truth even if in the process she might hurt the other family members that she has become close to. If I were in the position of Janelle I am not sure if I will be able to endure the heartache but I will surely have the strength to standup for the truth no matter what and give the gift of justice to the person I love.

Heartache is so hard to be healed and it takes a very long time And I also wish that she will recover soon from all the pains and hurt she's suffering. Thank you, yahnee, for sharing your valued opinion.

Hello neelia_lyn, I wasn't able to watch the interview at the Buzz but I was able to watch a partial interview of Korina Sanchez with Janelle. I think it was shown at studio 23 or at TV patrol. Anyway, I am not familiar with her and I didn't know that she is from Star Circle until you mentioned it here. But based on her stories and her experiences with the crime, I can say that she is really a strong woman. She was able to handle the situation very well and she was very alert that she texted her friends and family about what happened to be able to rescue them. Until now, she is very strong that despite of what happened to her she is willing to tell the truth even if it will mean that her life would be still in danger. If I were in her shoes, I don't know if I would be able to do as what she did.

It's Rated-K already with Korina and I am waiting for another interview of her. I am curious of her story, of how she survived. You are right. She really is a brave and strong woman. I thought she was just a beauty but she did have brains, too. Thank you, red_amethyst, for the response. See you around :)
