About 6 mos already when we plant our papaya tree at our own backyard. Whenever we plant something within the vicinity of the house i am so excited to see what would happen and hows the quality of the vegetables and fruits we would harvest. It is good because it is organic plant and no fertilizers or chemicals added. 2 months ago. im still pregnant then. i saw this small fruit of papayas on the tree. i was always asking my mother when was the papayas will ripe because i want to eat it. she tell wait. and i keep on waiting...every day i look at it and see if there are changes happening.. days after here comes my delivery and i had this pretty little girl on my profile. the papayas did not ripe still. 2 days ago i suffer from constipation and here comes my mother giving me the fruit which was rich in digestive enzymes the papaya. I love the freshness of the papaya and the sweet taste it has.hmm really love it! fruits of waiting. Tomorrow i will know the benefit it will help to me.. Do you love to plant in space within the vicinity of your house? How was the waiting period then?

My dad and mom have a Papaya tree on their backyard. but mostly they have mango trees. I live in a condo unite but it didnt stop me from "gardening" I can still have my vegetables, planted in containers. I usually prefer unripe papaya, You know the green one that is used as a vegetable. Not a fan of the ripe one but I eat it when its available cos of its nutrition. Its a superfood.

In our hometown where my parents lives, they have lots of papaya trees, which give them lots of fruits. In addition there are lots of guava, atis , coconut trees. My parents planted them a long time ago already. It's sad, that i don't know how to grow plants. But i do love seeing plants and trees.

Correct! It's my mother who has the green thumb actually. Though my father has his own garden of lettuce and radish, for the family's consumption only.

I really love to have lettuce. According to one of my friend it will take a month before i can eat lettuce from the time it was planted. Lettuce is great for our health. Its nice having a garden, hoping i could have a large garden that i can plant many lettuce.

Leave the planting to a person with a green thumb. anyway just add small amount of water each day and it will grow by themselves. Good yo know that your parents have some plants.. To our oldies its their best way to let themselves busy all day..

Congrats. A very cute and innocent baby. My parents has a big and have enough space to plant everything what we want to play. In the back of their house, they planted guava. We used to eat guava. We have had this tree since I was very little kid. Sometime, we have to cut the down the tree for some reasons.

We have guava also infront of the house. It is as high as me and having lots of fruits also. Even the water delivery boy in our place are happy and come faster as we request for water because in return to that he will taste again the sweetness of the fruit we have. We actually dont have big place at the top of a dam but the soil is fertile thats why we treasure it the most..

We used to live in a house before with a big backyard. We have different plants and flowers and some veggies and fruits too. One of it is papaya, but those times I don't appreciate the benefits I could get from eating one. During those times I may not have any digestive disorder. Now I love papaya because it really helps me whenever I have that cons

It had its own industry actually. The seeds that i get is tye one i bought from the market. Whenever i eat the fruit i like i throw the seeds anywhere in the yard with soil. Of all the seeds im happy to see that there is One two or three growing. Its a blessing for us to have fertile soil inside our place. Not so big only 1.5m into 3m infront of the house and also same area at the back we have many fruits and vege we like to eat. And with 1 flower On it.

This reminds me of my mother's papaya tree. Few years ago, she planted a papaya. She really loved to eat the very first fruit of her plant. She waited for too long until the fruit was ripe. It was not yet fully ripe. She said that she will just get it by the next morning so that she will have a papaya breakfast. By the next day, she woke up early and went to her plant directly. To her surprise, the first fruit was lost. She really got mad and angry. She cut the plant and throw it beside our house. She think that our neighbor steal it because the plant was hidden and only our family and that neighbor knew that there is a papaya tree there. After that, my mom just plant flowers.

Haha nice One! We actually experience same things but it was a dismay from the one who try to get it that instead it will fall down to his place it falls inside of our fence. So we still have our papaya fruit. Its fruit is lovely and good to eat while it starts to ripe. With the green and yellow color of its skin and mouth watering softness inside... Wow its really great..

When I lived in province I also used to plant many plants or trees like guava, papaya, mango, etc. It is frustrating to watch those trees grow so slowly, but it is worth the wait when you eat the fruits of the plant you planted on your own.It feels better than eating fruits you just brought from the market.:)

I would like to plant fruits also within our home vicinity but then I think there would be no space for that. Anyway, congratulations for the plant that you have. Your waiting was all worth it.
