Was Gloria Arroyo a competent head of state?

In my opinion, she was one of the most incompetent leaders our country has ever known. In my book, the more corrupt your administration become, the more incompetent you are...since it means you cannot control but instead became major contributor of the number 1 reason why our country is not moving forward. Our thinking that a leader who uses force and propaganda to perpetuate lies, and stupid people thinks it is true, must end. The so-called economic progress Arroyo followers are flaunting about are nothing but. The recession in USA which caused the dollar to weakened inadvertently caused our peso currency to become stronger. Thus do the math and the previous administration benefitted from USA's misery. Arroyo could have just do nothing and still our currency will strenghten, but we all know Arroyo and her husband got busy with Filipino people's money.

Hi there ardieboi! I was actually interested with your discussion. Those were not build by our government. There we build by other foreigners. Pnoy is trying to eradicate the corrupt people. Because if we let them stay there like GMA, then all politicians will follow. And see in the stock market, our economy is growing. You can ask bank managers and they can tell you. It's a good thing, that those people he appointed also resigns when they were not able to do their responsibilities. And one way, it's not only pnoy who appointed his friends and relatives, almost all presidents did that. If you're the president, of course, you would like to be with people you know and trusts.
