Does fast food cause pimples?

I was just wondering if eating fast food could cause pimples. Not full blown acne, but just a few pimples here and there. I have fast food a couple times a week and I noticed that my face sometimes breaks out in a few pimples. I'm not sure if this is caused by the fast food or not because I noticed I started getting more pimples when I started my birth control pills. I usually break out in the same spot too and I'm not sure if it's caused by what I eat or if it's because I rest my head on my hands or not. So I was just wondering if fast food could have anything to do with it lol

I used to think greasy food, like fast food, could cause pimples, but when I researched it for some acne articles I discovered that pimples and acne are more likely to be caused by our hormones. I used to think chocolate also caused pimples, but found out that food doesn't cause pimples. You mentioned birth control pills, they are more likely the culprit, since they are hormones.

I've always thought that too until a doctor told me it wasn't true. I really do think it could be the birth control. Before I started it I would have a few small pimples here and there but once I started this pill I noticed I got a few more than usual. It's very annoying because nothing seems to work on making them go away. One will finally go away and then another one will pop up..it's very frustrating.

I don't know if you use makeup on your face, but I hear that makeup can aggravate pimples if you have them. Here is something I did to get rid of pimples when I was young. A doctor told my mom when I was a teen (I had bad pimples on my face) to put toothpaste on my pimples. The toothpaste dries them up. It also worked when I had poison ivy.. it dried up the lesions. I would put white toothpaste (Colgate) on my pimples and leave them covered at night and then wash my face in the morning. I don't remember having them too long after I started doing that. I had them bad when I was 14, but I don't remember being 15 or 16 having them.. so either I grew out of them or the toothpaste might have helped get rid of them.

Thanks for the tip! I use a very light makeup but I don't think it causes them because they happen in the same place and it's the same makeup I've been using for a while. They're not terrible pimples, just a few small ones here and there. I'll give the toothpaste trick a try and maybe it'll make them finally go away lol

If not the sole reason, I'm sure fast food has got something to do with it. Everybody's 'breakout' are different, but I noticed that when I was younger, mine came out when I eat oily food. Most fast food are greasy, and I would think that is a big reason.

What you eat can affect the condition of your skin. If you are eating greasy food then it will bring more oil to your face and cause clogged pores. I have heard that birth control can help with breakouts so I don't think it would be from the birth control pills. I would try and lay off the fast food for a while and you'll probably see a difference in your skin.

Well whenever I think of fast food, I think oily, so yeah I think they do give you pimples. I absolutely love fried chicken but whenever I have one, the next day i find a pimple or two on my face, and that is not just once or twice but happens everytime.

I think fast food has a greater impact than a few pimples on the face. Who is potentially subject to colon cancer ? Of course they are most frequently eat fatty food such as those presented in fast food. Fatty food like hamburger, fried chicken, potato fries, etc...It will only slow down the transmit time of food. Carcinogenic substance contained in food will last a long time to settle in the intestinal wall so that trigger cancer growth there. The best step is, at the age between 30-40 years old began to visit a doctor. This is useful for early detection of colon cancer growth. Symptom of colon cancer was almost similar to the diarrhea, the presence of blood in the stool. Symptom include pale end, pain in general, malnourished, weak, emaciated, there was fluid in the abdomen, enlarged liver, spleen and channel widening.
