In Turkish thought system, there is a general idea that Bosses are always right and you should always do what they want. Could you act against your chief, manager or boss in your country?

I was taught of this kind of discipline back in college where I experienced semi-military training, which I obey while working on the ship. Our rule is as follows: Rule no.1The Boss is always RIGHT!!! Rule no.2 In an instance that the boss is wrong, REFER TO RULE NO.1 Hahaha No choice is there? But we had a few amendments to it because this rule is not really applicable in all situations. and the change to the rule was, The Boss is not always right, BUT, He is still the BOSS And because of this rule, I personally, do not act against my boss, but I have the right to challenge his judgement when I sit fit. Happy Mylotting :)

You can always say what is on your mind no matter if it's your boss/chief/manager or a member of your family. It depends on how you say it. And yes in my country you can, which doesn't mean everybody is doing so too. It needs courage, self cofidence to do so.

You are right but there is a fear that you could lose your job.

Well I know I couldn't, I know for a fact that if I was to do the opposite or not at all what my boss said. My boss would make working there really hard.
