You should consider buying used shoes regardless of the brand or the price of the shoes. I remember that I once bought a pair of used shoes because I liked them because of the brand and especially the price. I wore them only about 1/2 a day and took them off because I felt my feet hurting a great deal. Upon looking at my feet, I saw that they had blisters (I mean VERY Painful Blisters). The shoes seemed to have some sort of fungus or something. The shoes looked like new. I don't have lots of money, BUT I will NEVER buy used shoes Again, Would you?

i have bought used shoes with no problem. i have also been given used shoes and have had no problem. i visit thrift stores often but dont buy shoes just because i dont need any. i have been fortunate. i found a winter pair of shoes (new) marked down to $3 last summer and a summer pair of ballet flats this past october for $5 (also new). here in canada, more often than not, used shoes cost more!

Wow, that sounds interesting. I don't know why used shoes would cost more than new shoes there. I do not like to sell or give away my shoes after being worn. I would sure feel bad if some one thought that I had some foot infection (which is highly unlikely). Thanks

Even though I've never had a bad experience like you did, I don't think I'd ever buy used shoes. People's feet sweat and they could have all sorts of fungus. I'd rather spend the money on new shoes that I know are clean.

I found out the hard, painful way myself, but you really never know who has tried on some of the New shoes and have placed them back leaving some infection in the ones they tried on. Thanks
