Sometimes i am really at lost about what questions i can make reply in mylot

We all know Mylot has strict rules about what kind of posts we should not make. And if we answer the questions which against the guidelines, our posts will be deleted together with the question. Though i have been very careful. But i still get some notifications from Mylot about the deletions of my posts, the reason is because the question it was under was deleted.
This morning i got two such notifications, it really make me feel so upset. I really want to know what kind of questions we can't answer. You know, now when i am trying to post, i will have to think for a while: does this post against Mylot guidelines, will my answer be deleted together with the question? And you know, now i am even a little afraid of make posts under the discussions with question marks.
How about you,my friend, how about you differentiate the wrong posts we can't make responses?

You cannot do poll questions like "how many of you drink coke?". This sort of question will make you lose your post again.

Does that mean we can't post question without any opinions of the post creators'?

you just need to reword it so it does not sound like taking a poll of a lot of people like a survey, instead why not start with what you think of coke as say opposed to Pepsi but you write it as what you feel about it then at the end of your discussion just say what is your take on this fellow mylotters? that gives it a new perspective.You lay out your opinions them ask us for our take on it. I have used this for years and have not had a discussion deleted on poll type questions.see instead of just polling someone you are making a discussion, the other was not a discussion as it could be answered in a couple of words. no discussion. mylot is a discussion forum where we talk over things, issues, problems, etc.so questions really are not discussions unless you show them as issues then we can give our opinions and suggestions. I have been here for five years and in all that time only had two discussions deleted and both were because a responder insulted me and I lost my temper and insulted her back so they were deleted for being a flame war. lol

a very good advice from of the most senior members of mylot
, and just by reading her response you will learn a lot of things that you should keep in mind. Sometimes it is just the way om how we present our question, add something to a question that will make it a topic for "real discussion" and not just a question and answer kind of discussion.
