Tablet or laptop

Tablets are becoming more and more trendy. However, comparing their use with a laptop, they seem to be too expensive. For the same price, a laptop can offer far more functions. There is also the Hard Drive capacity. Am I right? What is your opinion?

I have wondered about that question myself. I was also thinking of theposibility of getting a tablet instead of a latop or a netbook for my next computer. i would have to say the tablet is more portabe than the laptop but I don't knwo much abut tablets.

Well I partly agree with you. You should also compare the use of a smartphone as well, the price of smartphone seems to be the highest among these three types of products. And you and I would definitely not use a tablet of a smartphone to create a website or other complicated tasks. But to think in a different way, tablets and smartphones are much handier than laptops. I have never seen people holding a laptop to read ebooks on train; I have never seen people holding a laptop to watch movies. All of them use tablets and smartphones. And it is more trendy and easier to communicate with friends using apps of tabs and smartphones (like whatsapp). So I would regards these three as compliments but not substitutes of each other, in this sense you cannot say the prices of tablets and smartphones are unreasonable as it is unfair to compare these different items. Or you may say, the price of Micro-SD card is always higher than a SD-card, that means, handier and more trendy stuff is always more expensive. Hope you understand what I mean. ^^

Well i think its all about the preference each person. Tablet are expensive and have a better and stylish looks than normal laptop. But for the specifications, so far as i can see laptop is better than tablet with the price far more cheaper than tablet. For me the good things about tablet only their touch screen feature. Because of that, i prefer choosing laptop than tablet, because with the same price we can get a better specs laptop. Also Laptop has more Hard Drive capacity than Tablet so you could keep more files with Laptop than Tablet.

Tablets are for status quo especially if you want to get some business deals closed, for example if you are talking about venturing into million of dollars business deals and the image that you carry does not show that you are capable chances are the business deals might take some time or not at all to be materiallise. Tablets are much easier to carry, i guess thats what the IT engineers or Steve Jobs alike sat in the board room to have meetings and give presentation to make life easier.

These two gadgets are the things that is in today when it comes to technology. If you have the money, you can buy both. But when you have none, just go to the internet cafe. For me, which is which? I don't know but I have a laptop so maybe I will stick to laptop. I haven't touch any tablet yet. Hopefully soon.

True Tablets are truly expensive but if I have the money to spend, I wound prefer the tablet. No particular reason really, i guess i just want one. But being practical wise, I would prefer a laptop. So many things you can do with the laptop with the same with the tablet and for me it's easier to type in a laptop rather than in a tablet.

Tablets are taking over this world and will soon replace most of the laptops. But as of now I am still a laptop fan . More than the hardisk capacity which is better for laptops ( as of now ) the one thing that attracts me mosr to laptops is that I find it eaier to type and am more comfortable using the laptop ( it feels more natural ). The tablet may be easier to carry, have larger battery life , have better resolution but as of today I will still go for a laptop to use daily. SO for me a tabelt is nice to have but a laptop is a must have . Ask me the smae quetion 5 years down the line and I may answer differently ;)
