Hello, subhayu_frndland! The verb in the sentence is intransitive. Intransitive verb does not have any objects. If the verb does not have any objects, it can neither be transformed to a passive voice nor to an active voice.
Let me give you some examples of sentences with transitive verbs. Here are some of them:
1. My friend gave me a very special gift this morning.
2. The chef bakes a chiffon cake.
3. Subhayu_frndland posted a new discussion in myLot.
The verbs gave, baked, and posted are all in the active voice. The direct objects are gift, cake, and discussion.
Here are the transformation from active to passive voice:
1. A very special gift was given to me by my friend this morning.
2. A chiffon cake is baked by the chef.
3. A new discussion was posted by subhayu_frndland in myLot.

My answer is the same. Worked does not have any objects. To understand how to locate the object of the verb, you must ask who, whom, or what after the verb. If there is an answer, the verb has an object.
Please analyze this sentence.
Active: Gandhi gave us freedom.
Passive: Freedom was given to us by Gandhi.
Passive: Freedom was given to us.
The verb is gave. Now, ask what: gave what? There is an answer. The answer is freedom. Ask whom: gave whom? The answer is us. There are two passive transformations in the sentence that I gave because "by Gandhi" can be included or not in the sentence.
In your sentence above, you may try asking "worked what?" Is there an answer? There is no answer. Worked whom? There is also no answer.
For additional information, you may check http://www.englishpage.com/verbpage/activepassive.html . You may also try the quiz at http://esl.about.com/library/quiz/blgrquiz_passive1.htm . If you have any questions with regard to the answers or anything about passive active transformation, feel free to post your questions here. Good luck and happy new year!

Gandhi used of 'non violent' method like hunger protest as a means to cause civil disobedience in a British occupied India is a testimonial that passive resistance against a powerful and brutal colonist ruling elites can be achieved, the voices of the oppressed masses can be heard and reverberated through out generation of Indian people and in land across the globe to set India on the path to freedom.
