Dear friends, this discussion will talk about work, I will make a speech first addressed in my case.
I find myself still unemployed at the age of 36 years, mostly without even any remote possibility that something on the horizon is moving on this front.
You know, I speak for Italy, there is a crisis, there was a change of government to try to balance the budget statement in 2013. This maneuver is well known that cost us more than a few sacrifices.
Do not hide the fact that in the past when I was 25 I had my opportunity to be placed in a secure job, but unfortunately because of my problems, I lost this great opportunity that is hard to believe .. that it will reoccur in the future.
Being disabled, maybe I could be helped by my social worker for inclusion in the protected categories. For this I have been informed, but the answer that was given to me was: "You can not work, because they have no money for your salary !"
Then closing the curtain, at this point I can not do anything but placed the words of the title, that is: working today ? .. maybe just a dream!

I agree the markets affect everyone. Whether you are an entrepreneur or looking for an employer the current markets let us know what will work or not work. Seems people have been getting into different positions just to make income, volunteer or take part time jobs to compensate. I think (not a prediction) it is possible there might be an upward trend to markets in the future just because they never stay the same but how or what will come next, who can say.
Industrious work can come into play because of a need. For example a personal friend of mine a long time ago, told me had too much work at the local bus company because at that time so many more people had to switch to public transportation. There are always services needed in any economy but the available funds and needs do chase each other and finding new work that is open at the right time is another story.

Maybe in certain circumstances there would be jobs to be given free to people who are looking for. The basic problem, in my opinion is always an economic one, as I was directly told "do not have the money to pay you the salary!"

Company A (A = Adam) sells products but wants to increase sales so they have a special and lower price but at the same time there is a dip in the market so the only way they can sell something after that is to sell the specials. Sales drop so they lay people off. They can not afford to pay for production costs (labour, material and operations). They sell less with less people and less production, they are on a downturn. Yes that is called economics.
They need someone to find ways to boost sales. When someone does, they will hire more and make more. That is an upturn. Upturn, downturn, up, down, up, down, up, down, up, down, up, down. That is life.
