Neti Pots

I just wanted to pass on an FYI for anyone this may be helpful to. I just read an article about two individuals who died from using tap water in their neti pots. Which caused bacteria to go to their brain. So anyone who uses Neti Pots are strongly urged to use Distilled water instead of tap. It was scary reading that article. I don't use Neti Pots but I think for me if I'm trying to do things with my sinuses I will stay away from tap water.

I use the neil meds system and there are very specific instructions on how to use them including how to sanitize them. It's too bad they didn't follow the directions...they might still be alive! Good to bring it up though so everyone is aware of it!
