with all due respect to the writer of this story dan brown i just want to say whether this was somethin that was required to be written. As a movie lover i liked this film for it superb direction and as a suspense thriller but the content i think was too much hurting for believers.We all know the historical inaccuracies associated with the events in the movie i just wish dan brown wrote this just as an entertainment perspective.

This was required & indeed very much overdue to be written. As a believer, I do not feel any hurt, but was motivated to research the historical accuracy of each & every claim made. Christian Bible Scholars, theologians & many others have been making these same claims for centuries. This was not new information whatsoever. They should teach this stuff in schools. It was magnificently presented in the film (much better in the book) & ties a number of different topics together very well & very cleverly. I like his Angels & Demons work much better, but the concepts presented are equally important. I don't see how a believer who is firm & secure in their faith should feel hurt by having more details presented to them than what is currently being taught.
