What Damages Did you Experience this Holiday?

One week ago, we experience flood. During the day, the rain keeps on falling down. By 12 midnight, almost all people are asleep but my brother was not. He was still surfing the net sitting in our sofa near a window in the house. He heard an alarm but he thought it was just a police patrolling. He heard that the rain was not so heavy anymore but he can still hear something noisy. It sounds like he was sitting near the water in a river. He looked outside and he was shocked. There's a flood. He call my father's attention and so with my mother and all of us. The flood is still outside our house but it was getting higher. Luckily we have rectangular woods which really fits our door. We used those woods to block the flood and prevent them from getting inside our house. We're focused with our doors that we've forgotten the small holes outside our house which are connected from our bathrooms. We are shocked to see that the water is already there in my mom's room. The flood makes many damages in some parts of our city, luckily no one got hurt. Last Friday morning, we also experienced flood and it was just so low. The other neighboring cities also experienced floods. I hope that there will be no flood these days anymore so that we will enjoy this holiday. How about you guys.
