In my new house I intend on saving the vegetable scraps so that we can feed worms to get good soil for the garden as well as worms to feed my tropical fishes and most important is to not have these scraps go into the landfill. I will be having a compost pile outdoors along the organic garden that I will be putting in to grow organic vegetables to eat. I will do an enegy audit to see where I can cut energy cost as much as possible. What other things can you tell me abut that will help Mother Earth (and possibley save some money)?

it is good to plan ahead when you have a garden, not like me, I went silly planting things in my garden years ago, and things look so nice when you first start your garden but years later things get out of hane... I made the mistake of planting a wisteria and now it is completely out of control coming up everywhere...it is good to study and plane exactly what you want and think ahead, you are doing a good thing.
