Liverpool has successfully crushed Aston Villa 2-0 at villa park. Bellamy and Skertel had scored each goal at first half, They dominated the match with higher possession and many chances. Suarez has played brilliantly and almost scored goals but being saved by goalkeeper and hit the goal post, With this win, LFC stay competitive in order to climb up to big four. Arsenal lost against City at the same time while Chelsea only held draw yesterday. So Liverpool has 29 points, same points with Arsenal but they have better goal difference. It makes the reds stay on 6 position. Even without Gerrard and Lucas who still in injury, Liverpool has playing really well and shown great determination and performance.. What do you think about LFC performance lately? Can they finish the EPL in big four and back to the Champion League zone?

I think the poor conversion rate in home matches will cost Liverpool this season. The number of draws they have played out at home is incredibly high. At the end of the season they might rue that. At least now they seem to be getting back to winning ways. I think the top of the table is going to be really tight this season. Liverpool has a good chance of making the last Champions League spot. Let's see how they play the rest of the season. Cheers! Ram

Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea should take three of the four spots. That leaves Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham to fight for the remaining spot. With Tottenham and Liverpool winning their matches, the weekend results does not suit Arsenal. They have more ground to cover between now and the end of the season. We should check back after the festive period.

Was very happy this result, Aston Villa are a difficult team to beat away and it is a real confidence booster we need more results like these to really compete for the top 4, we are playing really well with Suarez and Bellamy up front, Suarez again was unlucky hitting the woodwork and Stuart Downing was also unlucky having his shot saved. The deliveries from the set-pieces were exceptional and we scored two very good goals and a good win.

If they play like their last match - not just the champions league quota is obtained, the EPL title race still can be pursued.
