Need to get a new ELF Movie

I love the movie Elf. Will Ferrell is ridiculously funny in this movie. I guess I will need to buy another Elf movie, because this one is skipping all over the place. I cleaned it and it is still skipping and freezing in places. I hate this, because I love this movie so much. I especially like the last chapter of it where the whole world has to start singing Christmas Carols to power Santa's sleigh. The sleigh is powered by the Christmas Spirit, and because it is so lacking, that Santa can't even get his sleigh to stay in the air to deliver toys. I get tears of joy every time I see Elf's real dad (a real scrooge if there ever was one) get the Christmas spirit. When he finally lends his voice you see Santa and his reindeer fly into the sky. It makes me cry with utter joy every single time. I have watched this movie so much that I wore it out, I guess. Is there a movie that you can't get enough of? Please tell me your favorite movie to watch on DVD over and over.

I can't say that we ever wore a movie out, but if we the movie White Christmas, I am sure we would definitely wear it out, as they don't put it on regular TV anymore. I never saw the Elf movie, but know we would enjoy it.

We have wore out a lot of movies. We wore out The Christmas Story and had to buy another one. It takes years to wear them out. I will have a movie 3 or 4 years before I wear it out.

Elf is probably my favorite Christmas movie, it's funny and heartwarming. It definitely sounds like yours has gotten a lot of use and is now wearing out :( I'm sure they have it on ebay for pretty cheap too. I hope you get it soon because this movie is so good!!

Hi Courtknee, Elf is old enough now where I can get it the $5 section at Target. We always get our favorite movies at the $5 section.

My favourite movie is "Love Actually". It has several different stories all about love in all shapes and sizes. I love each story and I love the characters. I still cry through it and I still hold my breath and I still giggle and laugh. I have the DVD but it comes on to TV several times a year too and I watch it every time.
