Gifts for you, me, and Ms. Stereo-mouth

It's going on in the office: exchanging gifts will happen next week, maybe. It's something that I don't have any control of, so I just had to ride with it. Honestly, I just wanna save for next year, I'm planning to buy a new laptop. Well, yeah, 300 bucks is the maximum price of the present you have to buy, but that amount is still significant, don't you think? The worse part is, I drew the worst person in the office. A superficial blabber mouth who gets angry the second you say something about her, and yet she does it rather constantly.
Have you ever been in a situation you don't have control of, so you just have to go with it? How did you handle it?
