What do you think of 'Modern Day Robin Hood'?

Modern Day Robin Hood Poster - 18th November 2006 - New York Cash Blow out!!

The whole purpose of the ‘Blow Out’ in New York was to get you here and we welcome all of you. Our focus is not to shower just anybody and everybody with free money, although this could become a great signature to our arrival in the countries we plan to visit.

We never anticipated such a big response and as you can tell from the sheer laughter in the video, everybody’s spirits were high and we all thoroughly enjoyed this, we hope you do too.

Your link doesn't seem to work anymore, at least I couldn't get it to, so I'm not sure what specifically you were referring to in this discussion. I do think that the gap between the rich and the poor is growing wider and wider everyday and someone needs to do something about it. If that was what the "they" you were talking about were trying to do then I think it is a noble cause BUT I also think it would be better to find safe, legal ways to achieve the same results. Sorry I couldn't give a better answer, maybe I could with more information.

You are right. The story is so old that the website has disappeared! It was a story about a person (or group of people) who went out on the streets giving money away ... I don't know whether it was genuine or legitimate but the video showed them throwing money into the air and giving bills to passers by. It was either a mad millionaire or a bad publicity stunt with fake money. Many thanks for putting this one to bed, anyway!
