When will they get the reimbursement of Philhealth?

December 8, 2011 - The bestfriend of my big brother was admitted in the hospital. They were admitted in the hospitable almost a week. And all the lab, medicine and needed for the operation were bought in their own pocket. They are asking if when they can reimburse the money which they used for almost a week their.
They use Philhealth for the bill but still they spend 12, 000 for the medicine, lab and operation stuff. Do you have any idea when they will release the reimbursement for Philhealth member? They said they will issue it via check if I hear it right?

There is two ways to reimbursement through philhealth either you personally make a reimbursement or the company will give you form that you will be given to the philhealth office located in the hospital where you have been confined. Mostly they make reimbursement through hospital's accredited philhealth because that is the easiest way, just go to the philhealth office of that hospital, gave the form and they will deducted all the necessary bills. Now if you make a personal reimbursement well that would take too long just like what happened to me it took me almost 1 year to receive my check. Waiting for my check is not worth because I get disappointed with the amount I should rather choose to go the hospital's philhealth office than make a personal reimbursement.

I was also admitted in the hospital on October 9 but my philhealth papers was finished its process only on about november 23 because the administrator of the hospital thet will sign the papers was on leave, after that i think it will take up to the end of january before i can recieved the check that philhealth will issue.
