Camping light... how do YOU do it?

I wonder how many out there like to go camping light? I keep my gear down to less than ten pounds. Actually, everything I take, including food, is 6 pounds. Here's the kicker -- I put everything I carry in my pockets or in a small make-up bag. For a shelter I found very cheap 6x8 tarps and I use garbage bag material. It rolls up the size of of a fat toilet paper tube. I keep it in the car. It has everything I need to survive long-term in the wilderness; hot, cold, dry, rainy. It's fun to pack such a small kit... sometimes I just take off hiking on a three-day exploration walk. ...and others out there who like camping light? ...if you were challenged to pack a full survival kit in a make-up bag that measures 8x5x4 inches, what would you put in it?

I liked to camp as light as possible. I had a one point nine kilo tent and a light weight sleeping bag. If I had to have a survival kit that measured so small I would have a water bottle, a number of high energy snack bars, a blow up pillow, a sheet sleeping bag and a tiny toiletries bag housing my travel tooth brush, small tooth brush, deodorant, small mirror and ten contact lenses. I wear daily disposable contact lenses.
