Christmas Present

This is a little cross-stitch ( 5"x7" in a 9"x12" frame) I intend to give my Aunt Ollie for Christmas this year. She recently sold her house and moved into a condo. There were two pear trees in her yard, so I thought she might like this design, that whenever she missed her trees, she could look at this.
I scanned it directly from the glass, before I matted (dark green) and framed it (black frame). I had the matt in my stash but it took me a while to find a frame to size. (Tons of 8"x10" frames out there, thanks to standardization.)

Very nice. I wish the tea towels I did for my Gram where not wrapped or I would post a picture as they too are of pears to match her tea set.

I'm sure your Gram will love them, but will she actually use them or not want to "ruin" them and just keep them for "show"?

She'll use them, in fact they are really replacements for a set I made her about 5 years ago. She uses them all the time and they need a refresh so to say

I'm happy to report that she likes it very much (and my cousin was jealous that I didn't make one for her).

I just found this that is awesome.
I must have been on the ship when you snuck this cross stitch piece on LOL.
Hope your Aunt enjoyed it!
