Facebook has this so called "Group". You can join and even create your own groups in Facebook. You can add also your friends to join your group. My dear friends and fellow mylotters, do you have also groups in Facebook? Had you tried to create some? What do you think are the advantages you could derive in joining/creating groups in Facebook?

I'm currently active in two of the there groups on Facebook and they are very much so beneficial! My friends and I can communicate with ease and we can discuss and share information at the comfort of our homes or by the convenience of our cellphones. Its just really cool to share a circle with close acquaintances or old pals! If you haven't tried it yet, I recommend you at least try to make/join one. I don't use Facebook much anymore but when I do check my account, I go first to my groups and then I proceed to check my status updates.

That is very good. Facebook surely is one of the best features of Facebook. It will help us communicate to others who share the same preferences with us. Furthermore, it can lead us to our long lost classmates and friends. This is one of the strongest points of Facebook. I am so glad this feature exists.

I only join groups in facebook and have never created one myself. I joined those groups because those groups provide information that I am interested in. For example, my course in university has its own group which I have joined. Everyone in the course can communicate through the group page for both academic and social events. This has certainly helped us to bond more tightly with one another and this is why I joined the group.

Long time ago I made a DIY cooking group in my Facebook account. I did post a few recipes there, unfortunately nobody joined this group and it is very disappointing. I like to share my cooking experience and meanwhile learn from others. This is why I set up a group. Later I joined a Chinese social networking called Kaixin001 and I made a DIY cooking there. I am glad that there are at least thousands of people joined it. But the bad news is this website is not so popular as before. I love China

Oh, that is sad. Even I would be interested with your cooking styles and recipes. Kaixin001, I never heard about it. Is that popular also before? Maybe now, many will be interested about your craft if you make a Facebook group. I have also groups in Facebook. At the moment, I have only few members.

My classmate create a group on facebook because we need to post our activity in our culinary subject there because my prof said that she will just check it on facebook and we have no need to pass it in a folder. We also use facebook group when we need to announce a new activity that we will do for tomorrow.

That is great! I never though a teacher will use Facebook in checking activities. I believe you can save your time because of it. Furthermore, Facebook groups truly can be use in transmitting information. It is a very helpful tool for the students.

Hello kaichoukebz , the main benefit is that we could share the Photos, videos and all other updates as a secret one . These kind of groups can only be seen by the members not by the others. But I could say that there are some others who make the Group as Public .

Yes, if we join or establish a group, we can share to them our photos and videos and also let them comment on it. I think there is an option with regards to setting your group to public or private view. For me, I will pick private view though it is dependent upon the advocacy of your group.

Yes I belong to a few groups in facebook. I have a group that members are from my highschool batch, i also have an exclusive group for together with fellow scholars of my college. a group of my friends that are sporty individuals, group for the crew and the processors of my company were I work, and my favorite group, Group of gamers, fanatics and the like in other words a group for Nerds like melike me Advantage? it is easier to contact those who you have the same interest with, or a group of friends which when you post something to the group everyone will see the post when they view it. specially if it is a celebration or a get together, easier to contact them because they are already compiled. also those groups are like myLot as well, you can share your views post discussions to talk about, the only difference is you don't get paid not like here in myLot

I joined to four groups and I find it beneficial. I can easy communicate with my friends, share information etc. I am always updated if there is a gathering or gimmick with my friends. Every time I open my account on Facebook I check my groups first next on my wall. This is one of the features I really enjoyed. Try it too.
