Is your mother is a good story teller? Or now you also have an experience to tell stories..... Am I right?
Thank you for responding

It is absolutely essential that children must be told stories. As a child I used to read fairy tales and I still remember one cook in my house who told us stories about Arjuna and many other folk legends. My mother used to make me learn my rhymes by rote and study my lessons thoroughly and I used to always stand first in class in my junior classes.
I have read plenty of stories for my dearest son and have preserved those stories till date for the past twenty eight and odd years. Now God willing, I intend passing them on to his son. Children love stories and our Hindu mythology abounds in stories. PANCHATANTRA stories and stories with morals must be told to children.

Hi sjskumbla: I listen stories from my mother when I was a little kid too and it was lovely. I remember my mom telling me the stories she also listened from my grandmother, some of them are the classic ones and some other comes from my own culture. They make part of the beautiful memories I have from when I was a child

Yes i absolutely love listening to stories. Not only as a kid but I still do now. I tell mom to tell me stories sometimes when I can't fall asleep and she does it wonderfully :) I just love her so much!
And I do remember we had this sister who used to tell us stories as a kid. She told us one story about a wolf and a sheep and that got us crying for so many days! She was a wonderful story teller too!

I like stories very much although my mother doesn't tell it for me in my early age. The first time, I listen those kind of stories is at my elementary school from my teacher. He told the stories in so funny and meaningful way. I still remember his way in telling the story for us. Actually, the stories is just simple story, such as the good man vs badman, a mousedeer and the tiger, the greedy person and so on. Those are so simple story but give much value life and planted deeply on my heart. Story telling for the children give good influence for their next life.
