Tuition, Home Tuition has become fashion of our times. Earlier most of the parents had been uneducated. In the villages, majority of them were farmers. They brought up their children by associating them in housework as well as in educating them. These children could never dream of home tuition or any other tuition. The Parents would educate the children to pay attention to the classroom study and never to expect home tuition. They would instruct their children about the hardship and the children were mild to follow them. These children even excelled in studies. After the metric or 10th standard the girls would marry and only boys would pursue higher studies. The girls could never dream of studying after their 10th standard.
Today the parents are even highly educated. Yet the children go for tuition. Nobody is happy with classroom study. Many say that today the standard of teaching – learning process has been gone down.
The teaching process does stimulate the brain to perceive, gather the information, think of it critically and draw a conclusion or form an attitude. The perception of the knowledge is measured in quantity and quality. The quantity of learning can be obtained by rote memory but the quality is measured by the capacity to retain the learnt experience. After the perception of the meaning and the functions of a determinate content, the student learns to co relate it in other realities.
The teachers must train the students to their lateral thinking. They should gain maturity to discuss a reality independently without acting like a parrot. The learner should have a motive to learn. Sometimes the curiosity may lead the student to learn a particular subject. Sometimes a student may be is convinced to become somebody, or get the job and make progress or assure safety in life. Some may study just to accumulate degrees and feel superior to others.
Learning should be able to mould a personality. It must stimulate a person gain self confidence. He must have clarity of ideas. Half knowledge is too dangerous they say. It is often said that the bookish knowledge may make a person stupid. The practical wisdom cannot be obtained by accumulating degrees and diplomas. An uneducated person may be more wise and successful in life and a learned person may fail in his family life.
The learning progress depends upon the Personality Drives too. Some learned persons can be very emotional and cannot face the hardship of life. But an uneducated person may have a strong personality and caliber to face life problems with serenity and they make effort to become better and better. The success of a student depends upon the home environment.

A lot of people are getting their education through the computer, but the problem is that you are not getting social interaction, real social interaction, when you are getting your education on the computer. I know how to interact with people better than most of my friends and family do because of all of the social interaction I had in school. I learned how to interact with people from any and all backgrounds. I know how to talk to people. Most people don't know how to and can easily get into trouble with other people because of lack of social interaction.
Schooling on the internet isn't a bad thing, but at the same time, it is something that you have to be careful with.
