Hello... Strange question, right? Suppose re birth isn't a fictious topic. Let us suppose every soul keeps going from one body to other. Suppose we are gonna have another life after this one. And our next life is gonna be decided on the basis of this life. Based on these assumptions, who do you think you were in your previous life?? It will be fun to know what everone thinks about it... I have this question on my mind since morning. There is no specific reason. But I feel I must have been a soldier, maybe from WWII. I have special interest in that war. I've studied as much as i can. And I still read whatever material I get about it. I have a few good qualities of a soldier- pride, love for discipline, obidience, honesty etc.. LOL.. I've started dreaming of bunkers again... What do you think you were??? Please share... Merry Christmas...

Hello Mr. Pearl! Well, had you been a soldier, then hope you were a pearl to your army team too! Anyways, I am sure I would have been some sage or some philosopher who would be preaching about values and peace to the people around me. I am a great lover of values and peace. I never miss out on reading the different cultures and the values they hold. I believe that the values that a person holds, make the basis for his character. Other than that, peace is something that one needs to look for in his/her life. In this busy life, at the end of the day, all people will want a calm and peaceful life.

I agree with you buddy.. One's values define one's character... Being a sage, is a nice thing... First you have to control all the impulses and learn the wisdom through meditation and it becomes your duty to guide the world on the right path.. Being sage is a nice thing... Merry Christmas...

I have no idea on how to answer that question friend. because I think I have not remember anything in my past life if there was. But assumptions based on my self, on my characteristics and traits, maybe I was an athlete of some sort, or a sports enthusiast. Merry Christmas

That is a nice thing... do you mean that you love sports and are very conscious about the physical fitness??? If that is true then that is a great thing... Keep it up!!! Merry Christmas!!!

I don't know my identity in my past life because whatever my interest lies with, it's only for a short period of time. The only passion that has last for a couple of years and it's still burning, has to be my curiosity towards things. However i'm sure i can't be a scientist or researcher because i'm not good in science and i don't have the patience. I prefer things to work out fast, yet at the same time i can be patient for other things. Can u tell me what was i in the past?

Hi... There is a lot of data here to deduce from.. You should have been a traveller based on the facts that you have submitted... You were curious to know things... One needs money and willingness to travel to know about other things.. It doesn't require too much of patience, which is required for scientists... I hope, I have deduced correctly and sufficiently from the data... Thank you!!!

i find the idea of reincarnation interesting, but i don't feel that i can access a past life. though i get bad vertigo, and sometimes when i am walking somewhere high up i have this terrible feeling of being pushed over the edge by someone, and then i wonder if this is some sort of past life memory. so maybe i can't access my past life because i don't want to, but then maybe if i don't want to, i should.

Hi Francesca.. Your post opens a new line for thought.. 'Maybe, I don't want to...' It gives new ideas and possibilities.. Check the posts right above yours... You will find the replies by 'Little Mel' very interesting... And it seems as if he has done some research on this... Personally, I am going to do some research too.. This topic is vast and it might happen that after searching for my entire life, I will end up finding nothing at all.. You have that feeling.. I have such queer feelings at times.. It might be my imagination, as I stay alone and most of the time, I am just on my own.. so my feelings might be the imaginings of a loner and nothing more... Thanks a lot...

I think, you are right... It is just things in this life only... Maybe, my solitude has burdened my logic and my thinking has drifted away from the reality... I had feared this consequence... Like you, I had had a bad childhood, full of abuse n beatings (though the intentions were best) and I have been alone for quite some time; I think that is working on my logic n reasoning and I am literally dreaming of things that don't exist, concepts which are not feasible... Thanks a lot Francesca...

i like to sing folk songs and accompany myself, but i get incredibly stressed before i do it, though i actually quite enjoy it, so i had to find out what was scaring me. and in the process i have found all these fears i didn't know i had. but a lot of them, or possibly all, are associated with a bad relationship with my mother. but at the same time, i can see how her feelings that made her an unhappy mother were handed down through generations, and so in many ways i prefer the concept of intergenerational memories creating fear, and unhelpful behaviour, rather than the past life concept, but i still find the idea interesting, as for some people it is a very real experience, and maybe i just don't like it because i want to be rooted in the present, where i can deal with my issues. i quite like to be alone, but not all the time, to feel that we want to be alone can be because we don't feel like we belong to the tribe we live in, and that can be because we did not feel as if we properly belonged as children. that is just an idea, mr pearl, but it may be worth exploring, as the truth is we all belong.

Previous births are a reality, which many people do not accept, because 'science' and 'theologists' tell them not to. However, literature of several cultures give compelling accounts of rebirth. However, your thoughts of bunkers and wars may due to your excessive mental involvement in such literature and may be just your imagination. Imagination is powerful and if we start to too vividly imagine the things that we read we tend to become part of that and actually feeling as if there are reminiscences of such events we did in the past. So you need to carefully analyze whether your thoughts are your imaginations or they are something real from your previous life. Fortunately, through intensely meditating on this issue, you can get the answers for yourself in some time.

Hello Amy... Thanks a lot! I'm really not sure if re birth is reality or not.. How can we prove its authenticity? There is no proof about its authenticity, nor there is any proof which will say its false... If its true, then I am sure that I was a soldier in WWII... I'm so much attached to those events, especially in France and that part of Europe... I feel as if I've been there and fought there... And I'll give my life to know that it is true....
