Rosie is quite a poser. She is something else. She talks to us and likes to have her picture taken. She was walking with my daughter and when my SIL asked her to sit for her picture she sat right down like a good girl.
Does your dog listen to you when you talk to him/her? Does your dog talk to you? Please share photos of your dog if you have any, and tell me all about your special fur baby.

I am glad to hear that Rosie is learning so well. She is very obedient. When we had Pudge, a my girlfriends daughter took him to dog obedience for 4-H. She trained him for us. I had to follow through with what she learned. We then let her take him to the fair and other events to compete.
He was a American Eskimo which they also call a White Spitz.

As far as I know pudge is still living. My son gave him to us for our anniversary years back. We had him for over 2 or 3 years and had to start tying him up because he became very protective/territorial. He would block the entrance to the house to anyone that stopped to visit, or drove in.
So we had to keep him on a chain when outside, as we were worried he would bite someone. He never did. Well anyways our son did not like him tied up. So he came one day and took him to the farm where he worked. I did not say it was ok to take him, but my husband did. So one day when I was not home he came and got him. To this day I am still upset about it. He was our/my dog. I loved that dog alot. Needless to say we do not have a dog now.
He was a beautiful dog and very loving.
Enjoy Rosie.
Hugs

Rosie and my daughter are going to start taking obedience training soon. Not sure when, but she can get the lessons from Pet Smart. Those American Eskimos are beautiful dogs. My friend had one. His name was Abraham… beautiful dog.. but he passed away.. he was pretty old.

how sweet. as you can see from my avatar. sometimes Coco will be still for a minute. but you really have to be fast with the camera and have a treat ready
she will talk to us if we've been gome and come in, if we dont pay attention to her right away she will sound like shes saying hey, where you been? look here at me.

Awww… she probably is saying that too. I was trying to get Rosie to say I love you… I was going “I wuuub woooo” and she was very vocal but nothing sounded like what I said… I was singing to her while she was in her bed. Her parents were gone for last minute Christmas shopping, and she was in her crate bed… and she was telling me all about how unfair it is for her to be in jail… and she quieted down as I sang to her while I was washing the dishes. She just listened to me sing… and I can’t even sing well.
