i am really not trying to go out and get a job outside of the home at this point in my life because i am pregnant and i have been experienceing alot of discomfort which would make it difficult to hold down a "real" job. i also want to do something that i can continue after my baby is born so that i don't have to pay for childcare. it doesn't have to be anything that will get me rich, just something that really pays you more than a few cents or dollars. my husband is the main breadwinner but i would just like to contribute aome extra spending money (and future baby expense money)

Hello birdie816! I earn mainly from odesk. I've been working with odesk since 2009, although I've only been active on the site since Aug last year. But I haven't looked back since. You can apply for jobs very similarly to how you apply for jobs offline. Payment is through paypal or local funds transfer to your bank. Currently, I have 10 ongoing contracts. At first, you may find it difficult to get hired, but just have the persistence and the jobs will just come. Also, try to take more tests, and add more skills as you go along so that more employers will be interested to hire you. By the way, it's exciting to have a baby coming. Hope you enjoy your motherhood and having a career at the same time. Good luck!

Congratulations on your new baby! Although not pregnant, I too am trying to avoid working outside my home. After much research I am happy to share with you the best website I have found that offers links to real work at home jobs that you will be paid for without any investment. If one has any type of experience at all you will most likely find something you can do to produce income. From this page, www.ratracebellion.com you can find most any type of work and if you are artistic at all there are some great links and advice on marketing your artwork. Good luck to you in your job search and much love-n-happiness to you!

Well congratulations! I guess sitting around the house is quite boring and you want to contribute something for the family. I have heard of many ways to earn a decent income online but I guess you need experience though. If you have like drawing skills or programming skills or something like that, you could apply for jobs like that who pay you to do project for them. I don't have any experience so I usually just stick to a few basic sites like Mylot. I mainly earn from Slice the Pie where you review music and give it a rating. It pays pretty well, especially if your rank is pretty good and your rating skills are great. I have heard a person earning like 20 cents from writing a few lines and giving a song a rating. You just have to listen to the song for 90 seconds and then rate! Start article writing or blogging, I heard they end quite a lot. You could try freelance mentioned above or odesk, you pick a job there and they pay well but I haven't tried personally because I'm scared I might not meet the employer's expectation But you have time and I reckon you could do that!

well i am pretty talented in my drawing skills if i do say so myself lol...so i will look into that. and i also use slice the pie, but i have been having trouble with their new website. but i agree usually it is really easy to earn there so i still try to use it. as for blogging and freelancing i guess i do not have the patience (or maybe i am too boring to blog lol)

Hi, there. Congratulation you are going to be mom. What a lovely day is it. There are so many choices for working at home. In my country those mothers who are working at home, they try to earn money from their hobby or something has economic value. For example, there is a mother whose hobby is baking, she tried to make some variation of her cake and sell it. The others is by selling something on line or making some food and put it on certain restaurant and the rest is waiting for money. Most of them are succeed on her work at home but as other work it will not easy in the first time, you must have strong willing and tough in doing it. Hope it help you!

Yeah, You're right. You must help your husband to provide the family. There are many things you can do. You can work online or open a business at home. The job should be good for you and your family. If you are good making food, you can open a restaurant or make home production of processed food. You can also market their products via internet. There are many ways to work performed at home.
