Actually today I can find a lot of Wifi connection nearby. However, most of them are set password. So I can't use it. So when I go out, most of the time I have to use GPRS to connection internet.

Yes, because the wifi owners pay for it. There are many WiFi connection also in our area here but sadly, all has passwords. Free WiFi is only available at malls. I seldom visit malls because of their WiFi connection. I bring my laptop and sit in some areaa in the mall.

*You must mean you often visit malls because of the free wifi? Because if you do mean you seldom visit malls because of the wifi, then meaning you don't like the wifi, that's why you don't go often. Just for clarification.* Real comment: Why would you not want the wifi in the mall? Is it intrusive? I use wifi in the malls all the time, I don't think I had any problems. *Don't think, because I'm not sure if I've gotten any virus or anything*

Wifi is everywhere, but it is true that the owners of the wifi usually set password to avoid others from using their connection to make the net speed fast for them. But if we happen to be at the airport, you will be able to use the free wifi connection for the Internet, which is the usual case I have discovered. Merry Christmas, youless.

There are many establishments in my area that has a wifi connection. Unfortunately, they all have password and so, it is obvious that we cannot access the internet using their connection. In my case, I bought myself an internet usb modem. I always travel a lot and need to have access to internet most of the time. So this is very handy indeed since all I need to do is plug the usb and I can connect right away to the net even if I cannot access the wifi around me.

I think it depends on your location if there is a WIFI connection that is free. Sometimes cafe's have them you just need to ask for the password so you can use their connection.

It's not that easy to find here. Really, it depends greatly on the area. Centric commercial zones have many connections around and some from malls, restaurants, hotels and other places are free and set without a password. But many of them are private with a strong password in the way and a good cypher. In my house, I bought my own wifi router to have wireless network on my home, but I put a serious password to prevent intruders. Since I'm on a residential area with little commerces, there are no open networks in range, but like 10 others signals from other houses, which of course I cannot use.
