I have been wondering if I COULD use the free antivirus software version through net. if so which is fine and better for virus, cookies, and any kind of issues a system face. Where I have to download the antivirus software version. FREE VERSION IS FINE or only paid one.. I was constantly seeing someone promoting AVG. Is it a nice one. I have been facing the problem of tracking cookie in my system.how to delete those?

AVG's fine. It's actually still one of the best free virus checkers, I believe, and is really only beaten by the paid ones. As for tracking cookies, that's a separate matter. They're not a "virus" as such - they're considered "malware" (of which viruses are a subset but are usually considered separate... oh, so confusing). Something like Malwarebytes' free anti-malware scanner would get rid of them, though cleaning out your cookies regularly with something like Ccleaner would also work. You could also check your browser settings and tell it to refuse cookies (though some sites might not work properly if you do that).

Oh, and you don't NEED a third-party product for the cookies - most browsers have a setting to automatically delete cookies on exit. You just need to find it in the options...!!
