I learned via the net that iPhone will apply for a patent. That is they will use a new kind of battery which uses hydrogen fuel. This battery can use for several weeks and this is so amazing. Perhaps in the future we just need to charge our cellphone once every month. How nice it is!

Wow...I would like to charge mine once a month...that would save a ton of time. I have a pretty good battery now. I only charge maybe once every couple of days. I thought that was good but once a month would be better.

hi youless that news is really interesting it will be nice if they can really find a way to make battery last longer, but as luckygrey said there can be some environment and health risk arising from this kind of batteries, mind sharing the link to that article?

Since iPhone has a patent, so I wonder whether other cellphones can use this technology.

That would be great. In the meantime, I carry my charger with me everywhere I go. If we only have to charge once a month, I wonder how long it would take to charge? Not that long, I hope.

I think it will not increase the charging time so much.

I guess not, will more and more waste batteries and those rubbish containing hazardous materials, very negative impact to the environment....I think this is not good idea...not environmentally friendly.
