It is a season of holidays and leisure... If you have the chance to spend a Christmas holiday with your family, where it will be? To some place where there is snow so you can really enjoy a white Christmas or to some place in the tropics to escape the cold winter chills?

This is really the topic that i'm thinking of.I love the snow of Christmas. So this time i wanna reconsider myself that i'm really in need of a new trip to relax myself. Now the list i consider is Taiwan, and also europe is just so attractive to me.But the reality is that now i need money.Which really frustrates me.

Hi jricky1! Just want to let you know that I had my first white Christmas in Beijing last year. It was a memorable experience for me... And it was the first time I saw the Great Wall covered with snow. It was a sight to behold. I love it there! Taiwan is a great place to be also but there is no snow... hehehe... I celebrated the new year this year in Taipei. And the same with you, I also want to go to Europe but cannot afford to go to... sigh!

We live in Florida so ours was a sand Christmas. I don't miss the brutal cold and love living here. I can still take walks on the beach in just a hoody jacket. While I would love to see the snow and the clean smell of the brisk air, we have sand dunes here and when you are looking at them it looks like snow our sand is so white. I will have to take some pictures for you to show mylotters what it actually looks like. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas what type of Christmas did you have?

I would have liked to have had a white sand Christmas. I love being on a white sand beach on a little island surrounded by coral reefs great for snorkeling. Christmas in the tropics is a very expensive vacation due to the highest airlines fares in the year. It is only possible to have Christmas overseas on a long trip of a few months. I have had Christmas 1993 in Cairns in Australia and Christmas 2001 in the Bay of Islands in New Zealand. I don't like winter weather so I don't go to snowy slopes. I travel with my disabled son and my daughter. My son is in a wheelchair which would slip if it had to go on snow.
