When I was a kid, I remembered that I had done also Christmas caroling. It was an enjoyable experience because together me caroling, singing Christmas songs was my friends. We went to different gates of the houses just to sing Christmas songs to different people in exchange for some amount of money. We bought the money for candies and toys. Some people were angry about our singing, some also love it. My dear friends and fellow mylotters, had you tried also Christmas caroling? Who was with you caroling? Did you enjoy it also? Could you share some of your experiences?

When I was a child, we did Christmas caroling as well. That which I remember the most was doing it with my Girl Scout Troop. We would go to the neighborhood that most of the girls lived in and we would go from door to door singing popular Christmas songs. We didn't do it for money, we just did it so that we could spread the spirit of the season with a lot of other people.

Most children in the Philippines experience this caroling. As a child, I didn't experience it since I grew up in mountain place. But my nieces were very excited to do the caroling every year. My 7 year old niece do her research on what they have to sing during the caroling, It was fun. and after that, they divided the funds with each member even those who are not singing, lol. They are so cute singing.

Oh yes, i have experienced caroling too , with my sisters and friends. Some would give us a big amount but others won't. To some , they wouldn't give any, and we would sing "Thank you, Thank you, ang babarat ninyo!" (Thank you, thank you ,you are all stingy!)

I grew up in a small city so we almost knew everyone there. I was going with my friends for christmas caroling and it was really enjoying! Our neighbours and the people that we knew were giving us more money that usual and we had good earnings back then to buy our christmas presents! I stopped at the age of 13 I think because I started feeling a bit old for this, it's mostly for young childeren I believe! I am still singing it for my family though :)) Merry Christmas!
