things i have done for money

I am not proud of some of the things that I have tried to generate money. In the year of 2006. I was working in a law firm not making that much money, there was definitely no room for advancement. I had a co worker who had a friend that was a stripper, she would tell me how much money this girl will make, I found myself intrigued by the story, so I decided to go to the gentlemans club to see what it was about and to see the skills these girls had. When I arrived I was amazed at what I saw, strippers of a ll ages, from 18-50 yrs old. Some look good some looked down right anorexic. From my assessment I knew with my looks I could fit right in, that is what I thought. Well from that moment on I made a decision to become a stripper and see where that leads me. Well let's just say I worked in a law firm making 14.50 a hr. I would leave from there and go to the strip club working a minium of 5 hrs coming home with 250-300 per night. Some nights I would make 600-900. What's is crazy about this is I had no skills as a dancer, I did not work the pole . I used my smile and my gift for flirting to be my levage and it worked. To Some girls that's considered chump change but to me that was money and I was pleased with it, bills was being paid with ease. I was a stripper that didn't drink. Always remained in control of my mental status. I also wasn't into girl on girl action. Some girls would do all sort of things for the mighty dollar not me. It was a topless strip club and that was as far as I was going. Well I tried this adventure for about a month and was pleased with the money I was making.

Hi mochababy. I know circumstances can push people to take such drastic decisions. I was watching this movie recently called 'The Client List' and it was somewhat like your story. Don't worry, you haven't done anything drastically wrong, as long as you are accepted with your family and friends. Even if you aren't, you'll have your myLot friends. I have heard girls on forums talk about how they were webcam girls, strippers and what not. I guess that's just relatively normal.

Hi boyuance: I agree with you. These are basically choices people make at some point and I am not the kind of person who judge people for what they do. Of course this is not the best life option so instead of judging someone who is a striper I would try to give him/her another option to take. ALVARO

Nicely done manchi, never pay anyone a penny to share an information. If they are willing to, they will do it for free, or they will straight away say no.

@ boyuancy this is not right. don't people sell their information in sites like fiverr & other sites? don't they offer books & case studies for money? I don't see what I am doing wrong. If I am taking $5 from someone I am also giving something in return. creating a list of 100 genuine earning sites is not that easy. It takes lots of time & thorough research as there are more scams than original. Do you still think I shouldn't ask money for a list like that & give it away for free?

I guess that are people who really go things for money. I mean as long as you didn't regret your actions, it is fine isn't it? I haven't got the guts to do things to earn more money. Maybe I am thinking too straight. Maybe in my country, lots of things is controlled by the law and regulations here. So it is slightly hard to do things for money...

Hi mocha baby: I must admit that I felt a little bit shocked when I have read your story, specially because you are a professional, so, it must be really difficult to have this night job considering your academic skills. Even with that I can not judge you for your actions. You just did what you consider it was the right action for your economical situation and you have your own limits. ALVARO

If you consider 14.50 to be "not much money" I'd hate to see you try to live off of the $9.45/hr that I make. lol However, if I had the body for it, I would TOTALLY be a stripper, and not feel the least bit embarrassed about it. Sadly, I do not now and never have had the body of a stripper.

Welcome to myLot, mochababy ! I suppose these jobs are well paid because they don't last long, but one month is a very short career. What made you leave this job ? Have you found a better one or did you came back in your law firm ? I am waiting for episode 2.

I understood that your problem is not all about money but man basically never feel satisfied with what they have achieved or gotten on their life. You said that one night could you make 900 dollars richer, so what's more do you want ? I think 900 is not bad. I was glad you ended your country because the money that you got from such places were not meant for living things.

If you play your cards right there is definitely a lot of money to be made. Most girls get sucked into the scene and everything that goes with it and have to get drunk to do their job. I have met a dancer or two who was very intelligent saved money invested and is now a business owner. Best of luck to you on your venture and stay strong!

Dear mochababy, i know money is one of the most import thing for a human. Definitely, there should be no correct or wrong ways for a woman to earn money. But to earn more money to be a strpper is not wise. Did you feel uncomfortable when a girl of a decent lawyer to be crowded with men. Many of them thought bad on you and disrespect you may even someone insulted you just because you are a strpper,a humble strpper. Iam glad that you finally left being a strpper. Were you ashamed of what you did for the excuse of earning more money?
