What kind of ankle injury did you have.???If it is kind if sprain, you can continue your exercise. If it kind of ligament tear,it will take a little time to heal but you can carry on your exercise. But if you had some kind of fracture,it will take a long time to heal.It may vary from 6 months to even a year. Before doing your exercise, consult a doctor regarding this. Also get to a rehabilitation center and do some physiotherapy.Just be cautious before doing anything. You do not want to complicate your injury if it had not healed properly.

I broke my knee cap awhile back and had to sit out about 10 weeks. I'm on the mend but I have to come back slowly to avoid other inuries. You probably can - but you gotta be careful and start very very slow even though you feel like you can do more. Be safe!

I would think it would be okay as long as you took it easy and paid attention to how it felt, but you probably should ask your doctor or physical therapist first.
