Suarez has been handed a one match ban for the rude gesture he made to the Fulham's supporters. He will now miss the game against Newcastle. With another eight games ban hanging over his head, Liverpool will be very short in the striker department. If the appeals fail and Kenny Dalglish does not make any transfer in January, they risked missing out on European places for the second time running.

The Suarez saga continues. He has been banned after accepting the charge of a hand signal to the fans. I think this is deserved. But what is more contentious is the 8 match ban which is impending for the racial slur against Evra. Right now Liverpool and Suarez have appealed against the ban, but we need to wait and watch how that pans out. Cheers! Ram

i think it was big blow for Liverpool.. they must play without suarez, their new machine goals.. Kenny daglish must improve the performance of Andy Carroll, or liverpool is in danger..i dont think that carroll can be effective for Liverpool
