Difference between an actor and a political leader.

An actor acts and always seeks recognition for his acting. A political leader also acts but he never seeks recognition as an actor. Do you agree with me?

An actor acts to entertain and earn a living. A politician lies for money and power. Slight difference in my opinion.

It usually ends when they leave the theatre... unless they're Schwarzennegger, of course.

Very astute observation. Sometimes one wonders where the one begins and the other ends.

Yes, you are right that an actor acts to entertain people and thereby earns a living whereas a politician acts to catch vote which will in turn earn him money and power.

I agree with you partially. Both acts for the recognition only. The actor entertaining us with his actinng and he seeks the recognition. But the politician also acting but not entertaining anybody, still he seeks the recognition from us in the form of votes for him or for his leaders. These politicians are dangerous species of actors.

Yes, you are right that the actor entertains us with his acting. But I must add here that a politician always irritates us. In this context, I like to mention that I have clearly commented that a politician never seeks recognition as an actor while all his efforts as an actor always are aimed at motivation of the voters for casting their votes in his favour.

I agree with you that a politician always irritates and and he doesn't need the recognition as an actor. But he needs the recognition as the votes

Actually both are actors, one acts in movies and the other one on the political stage. Both try to fool ordinary people by their acting.

Indeed there are many similarities. It is all about playing a role when you think about it. And there are times where actors can really make great politicians if they really do in fact set their mind right to it. They are going to really in fact play a role to say the very least. Obviously, politicians take acting to an entirely new level, to where they don't acknowledge that fact. Its getting to the point, where its past the point, where we have ever seen the true face of any politicians. They have all been hidden behind a mask of deception and then there are just going to be times where they are not going to really be all that true to the people that they are supposed to be serving. Then again, that's not gong to change any time soon, unfortunately.

Simply, no. I think that politicians are better actors then they have in hollywood. I also think that politicians are always looking for recognition themselves as well.

A politician always seeks recognition as a lover of the people by his acting but he never seeks recognition for his acting capabilities.

The difference is that an Actor gets paid more to do less. An actor is suppose to act , we expect a performance, something for our money. A politician? A wise person would expect to hear a lot of talk but see no performance.

I would have to some what disagree. An actor knows he/she is acting from a script, but a politician thinks he/she is really creating what they say an in fact believes that the voters also believe what comes from their mouths.

I believe that an actor needs that high of recognition to keep himself at his or her performance level. If a political leader is seen as acting, he may only be looking for his next level of power and tricks you into thinking it was something he was not after.

For me, I think there is a very big difference between the two. Actors are professionals, they are paid for their acting, so it's their career. If they are recognized for their acting capability, then it could be an edge for them from other actors to be hired for more movies and earned more. While politicians are elected by the people to enforce the law, help and protect the rights of their constituents, without waiting for any recognition in return for they are only doing their jobs. Yes, they do earns too as a public servant, but other politicians are happy to serve to the extent that some spent their own money to help their people.

Basically actors and politicians are the same ..... they both act They both need recognition. Actors need it because recognition means more money for them. Politicians need it to get elected. Happy lotters
