Supermarket or malls are places where people do the shopping. Some, perhaps, just go for walk, or just windowshop. Many shoppers to these places come by their own cars, only a few come by bus or train. Some other people go to the traditional markets to buy thngs not available at supermarkets. At traditional markets, prices of goods are fixed, and they are not price-labeled. So you have to haggle over the price, while in supermarkets, all are price-labeled.
Rich bring home their purchased goods in their cars. Some others have to carry it on their bikes or carry it with their hands. How do you carry what you bought from a market.? Are the marketplaces far from your home or just a couple of blocks away?

I only shop from the supermarkets for the essentials like toiletries. So I always go home with only a single bag. I would often find it awesome looking at families pushing 3 or 4 carts loaded with all sorts of goodies. Just wonder how they are able to consume all these but then most of these consumers are paying through credit cards and not cash. Most of those who pay cash like me go only for 1 or 2 bags of essential products. I don't go to markets because I don't want to slip on the wet pavements and I don't want big crowds. There is a store behind the house that sells fresh products from meat, poultry, vegetables and fish at reasonable prices that it saves from going out to the market. They also allow me to order some special foods like shrimps or oysters. This is very convenient and allows me to spend most of my time in completing my online jobs. Because the store owner is more experienced than me, she is able to select the best cuts of meat and the freshest fishes to sell.
