i think the responses are worse, because you aknowledge a stupid question. A stupid question requires one person. Plenty of stupid people reply, though

Both are boring.
Stupid topics get a lot of responses, Serious one nothing!O_o* And there are a lot of stupid topics EQUALS!o.O

Both are annoying, but I really hate when some one asks a queation and people respond with answers like "I don't know" to me if you don't know it makes no sense to reply. At least with stupid discussions you can avoid them for the most part.

Stupid discussions are the worst. If you post a good discussion it's not your fault that some people are idiots, but if you yourself post a stupid discussion then you ask for stupid responses, which makes everything a big waste of time.
