Never thought I have this kind of "disorder". Last October I got my period 3 days earlier than the usual then it lasted for 8 days. I already panicked since the most that I have is 4 days tops. When I went to the doctor, she asked me to get a pregnancy test. It was negative. Then she asked me to have a Ultrasound. Turns out I have Thickened Endometrium and with Folicular Cyst which she explains comes and goes so no worries about that. She ruled that I have hormonal imbalance that time. That was before the end of October. I was in Provera and Diane pills. She told me that I need to take birth control pills so that my hormones will go back to normal. One of my fiancee's friend also have this problem. She got it like a couple of years already. I just hope that it wouldn't take me 6 long months to see results. Has anyone been with Hormonal Imbalance? I want to try juicing fruits and veggies since some says that our hormones can be affected with what we eat. I lived for almost 3 years in the city and I had a habit of purchasing food in fast food resto.

Yes, one of my friend often experienced that as well. However what she got was frequent pimple breakouts and that's where she turned to birth control pills to bring her condition under control. I know the type of food we eat does affect our hormones but due to our daily life routine, it's really difficult to control what we are eating. Besides, with her level of stress being a doctor, she can't afford to be choosy in her food since there are times she can't even have a proper meal.

Same here. I too have hormonal imbalance, mine is polycystic ovarian syndrome. Apart from those bc pills, i was also required to take metformin 500mg because i am also at risk of diabetes. I have had this for sooooooooooooo many years. There are soooooooooo many dos and donts in dieting also. It truly is a challenge. It is very common among women. I hope we can get out of this freymind.
