New Year Day

Again we are in a new year day.Today I had gone to the church. I have seen heavy rush in temples and churches in this morning.After that I purchased chicken, fish, fruits, cake and sweets for home. I think there should be enough food articles at home on the starting day of the year. By this I feel that there will not be any problem throughout the year.
Yesterday I had seen many people going to the party .Some of them drunk heavily and the reason was again they cannot drink in 2011. Today again this people lined up in the morning saying that, if they miss the first day to drink then there will be always problem through out the year.
What you have done on the last day of 2011 and what is your activity on the new year day. I like to see your opinions

Hi simsim!
It has been a normal day so far for me.
I had to attend some weekly errands which I did.
Thereafter, I attended a function held in one of my relatives house followed by lunch.
Now am resting at home.
Do you believe in this theory that whatever we do the first day, same things will get repeated throughout the year?
