Lost photos, you have such experience?

I have experienced this before. I agree with you, it really feels bad. Those are the moments that we cannot take back. Did you transfer it to your computer by cut and paste? I suggest to copy the images from your memory then paste if to your computer. I guess that way your pictures will not be lost. Happy new year!

I lost some old photos of my son when he was a baby but that has been many years ago. It was devastating and it still makes me sad when I think of it. They are moments that we can never get back except in our minds. I am sorry you lost your photos...maybe there is a way to find them. Maybe you could research it and see. Take care and good luck.

hi, usually happens specially if u are not used to downloading. i had my share of experience too. i was downloading a batch of pictures and then the power (electricity) suddenly going off, taking my pictures with it. its not in the computer and it is not in the digital cam too. really depressing. ann

What did you mean by that. The computer is no longer working or is it the camera? If you have any other computer or laptop, maybe you can use that one to transfer the photos. Or take it to a computer shop and have the photos from the digicam transfer to a CD or to your external hard drive, if you have any. If the digicam loses power, then I guess you can just try removing the memory/media card and use an card reader to transfer all the photos to a computer.

I have had such experience before. Now don't panic, all you have to do now is to go to computer experts, let them know your situation. and they will be able to recover your photos for you. These people can basically recover files under any circumstances. your gadget will always have a copy inside it that can be accessed by those who know how to deal with these things. That is how I recover my girlfriend's photos.
