Sigh~~~!
Just found out over the weekend that jailbreaking is not available for the iPad2 yet.
I was actually looking forward to do it.
Ah~well... the original is just as good.
Updated the iOS. Still exploring the free apps.
Do you have an iPad? iPad or iPad2?
Did you try to jailbreak yours?

Hi ahgong,
Pardon my ignorance but what does jailbreaking the iPad mean? What good does jailbreaking do? Won't it void the warranty or something? How do you update the IOS? Is it necessary to update it regularly? Thanks for sharing. Have a good day.

Jailbreaking means that you can download free apps which are normally priced and you can tweak your iPad/iPod/iPhone to have things you normally shouldn't have to have. Your warranty will expire, but you can also un-jailbreak and then your warranty is active (So don't worry) You can update your iOS if you want, but your jailbreak will disappear. It isn't necessary to update your iPod/iPad/iPhone, but you can do it because many apps need the firmware you doesn't have. I hope I have informed you well.

Hi FluxNL,
Thanks for the reply. How do you actually go about the jailbreaking process? Is there a jailbreaking app which you can download and installed or is it more complicated than that. Or do you require some hardware change? Have a nice day.

Iam still exploring the new apps, my dad got the iPad of his work as a christmas present. With a 25 euro app card. You can also try to download FAAD(Free app a day) sometimes there are funny games and good games. I have a iPad 2. I tried to jailbreak it, but it doesn't work yet. I have to wait till a 5.0 iOS jailbreak.
