Do you support Sea Shepherd`s tactics against Japanese whalers?

I am a big fan of sea shepherds and i support them with my both hands. This is the only way Japanese whalers to be stop!!! The goverments dont do any thing to prevent this terrible killings. I hope in the future they notice that and stop this. I am glad Animal Planet show the series Whale wars so people cans see the truth. I hope i find more people to support me and support Sea Shepherd campaign.Thanks!!!

Yes, I'm a big supporter of these guys & other organizations that expose & help end the slaughter. The Japanese Government's support of whaling... errr... I mean "scientific research" is out of all proportion to the Japanese market for the stuff. Unfortunately, the Japanese people have too little say in what their government does. The thing that should bother other countries, is that Japan is constantly invading other country's waters & "harvesting" the wildlife thereof without permission. They are stealing that which doesn't even belong to them. The government is clearly not acting for the good of the people & is bringing great disaster to the nation of Japan.

I have seen some small protesting done by the Japanese people. The majority are clearly upset by the international condemnation they are receiving for something the people do not support in any way & have virtually no say in. I think it is partly the political system to blame as well as tradition for the lack of protesing. There was also the case of the "Tokyo Two" - remember? I covered this angle here:

I think the people dont have the word. The govermant is the boss. They say what need to be done. If you look the news for Japan, do you hear a word from the people in Japan. NO. They are so quite. "scientific research" all we know what is it. Thanks to all for the support.

The said taste of whale is said to be a combination of beef and Tuna, why dont they just mix beef and tuna together, whales are critically endangered and an important part of the food chain in the ocean. people can eat all meat they want as long as the animal is not endangered. Whales are endangered.. only few people in japan eats whale nowdays, Most whalers i think eats their own catch.

whale vommit is one of the biggest product you can get from a whale without killing them (once in a while whales puke) their vommit is used for making perfume. so why kill whales? I think Japan dont really have a demand for whale meat, they were happy with eating fish.
