Why is it so hard to find a decent online site to make money from???

I am a full time mom and wife, with 3 kids, a house, a husband and a cat to take care of... this is a full time job that of course does not receive a paycheck. Although they mention many times a year on the news that if you match up a full time mothers work week to the workforce we would make a 3 figure income. None of which we ever get paid. With the rise in gas price, the rise in groceries, and the rise in day care...for a mother to go back into the workforce, you have to leave your kids in someone elses care... double the gas fill ups, and you would have to put out more for groceries weather you eat out for lunch or bag a lunch... so the cost is not worth it if you have to put out what you make and more--basing it on minimum wage--to have 2 full time working parents. I search work at home sites on a daily basis lately to see if there is anything legit, anything that will give me a part time paycheck from home so that we can actually start saving money, while I am not teaching myself how to use coupons so that we can cut our spending to find a way to save up to fix up our house and be able to move into a bigger house. All the sites I go to seem as though they are running for politics, show some flashy info but nothing to indulging until you give them your information and then they will ask you for money. UGH!!!!!! I am sorry to vent here, but I know most of you feel my frustration as well. I wish I could get more computer time online to do some of my money sites...but even then on a good month I might make $30.00...possibly $50.00 and that is if I neglect the house. I just wish I could find a legit, honest way to make $100-$125. a week. I truly don't think that is asking for too much. Are there days when you feel like this?? I am a positive person, I always try to look at the brighter sides of things, I believe that with hard work, determination that we can accomplish what we wish for....but UGH!! today I am just finding it hard to deal with. any positive encouragement can go a long way for me today!!! thanks

I feel your pain. I see your three kids, house, husband a cat, raise you 2 lab dogs and another cat lol. I try to do what I can online too. I don't really keep track on how much I make. I have a few good sites I could share if you want. I came across this one that is pretty cool. You do a few 3 question surveys every couple of hours. sometimes you win cash, sometimes tickets and coins which both go into winning cash. I waited till I hit payout with it and got paid before I told anyone about it. I have a few good survey sites too with easy quick surveys. I also work for a company called ChaCha that you can make decent money on.

I need to find more online time, with my busy schedule, yep you know about that. LOL ...my poor earnings are even less if I cant get on the computer. thanks for the response and have a great day!! Happy Mylotting. :)

I agree whole heartedly. Ive been searching for ways to make money online for years and I mostly do surveys and what not. But the most I ever earn is in the same range as you. One site that's not a referral or anything you may want to check out is mturk.com. You can earn money there but like the others it takes time and effort and energy that you might not have after housework & kiddos. Happy New Year and I wish you all the best.

Thank you and I wish you all the best as well. I will try to find more time online, after all you can't earn anything if you don't get on the computer. LOL thanks for the response and have a great day!! Happy Mylotting. :)

You are to be commended for your role as full time mom and wife at home. It is hard work and I do hope those important to you thank you for all you do. I also know that when you look at working outside the home, you have to make a decent wage to match the increase in expenses. Try to be persistent and you will find some good options to make money online. Your earnings are not likely to come from just one site, but rather several.

I agree, more than one site is necessary to bring in a decent amount per month... I havent been on the computer as much as I would have liked the last couple weeks because my kids were sick but now I am doing some catch up time and see if there is anything else I can add to my sites. thanks for the response and have a great day!! Happy Mylotting. :)

I sent you a link to a site that has listings for work at home jobs. I hope it helps. I am signed up for their updates, although have not tried to get any of the jobs.

Hi there Bookreadermom, I do feel your frustration. I had 4 kids and that was before computers were a common thing in every household. I had had a decent paying job working in insurance as a claims adjuster for auto accidents. I loved my job and it was a hard choice to make but it really was not worth my while to pay a sitter while I worked. So I became the sitter. I took on some kids to see them off to school and some younger kids that I had all day. I did a lot of odd jobs to earn extra such as mending, ironing(single business men are always looking for someone to iron their shirts) and I did laundry for a transvestite who did not want to do his laundry in a public laundrymat. I also cooked dinner for an elderly man and delivered it to his door each night. I just fixed him a plate of whatever we were having. My husband worked days and so I also held a part time job packaging meat in a local deli when he could be here for the kids. I worked harder back then than any "regular" job!! And it all got even more difficult when my marriage caved. Yes, I do feel your pain. I suggest that rather than look for work on-line, you try to think of things you can do off-line to make some money. Oh...I also used to clean apartments for people when they moved out so that they could get their security deposit back. Any of these things would bring in much better money than you could probably get on-line.

that is great you were able to get so many off-line at home possibilities. I am usually always positive about everything in life, I get a moment of frustration, vent and then make a joke of it...I think I am just over tired because I am running on little sleep from over this past holiday break and I want to find more time online for myself....which is what I really need to do. Lately I got 20 things going and cant focus on one thing at a time. thanks for the great suggestions and I am going to look into a few options to do to make some extra money by word of mouth with my aunts and uncles. Have a great day and happy mylotting!! :)

I hate to break it to you but there are NO legit ways to make $100 a week. I have been in these very same shoes for many years. Always wanting a full time job, but can't afford the child care or a place that could also taxi them to speech class ect w/o eating up my whole check. No such thing exists unless you have family who will watch the kids for next to nothing if anything. I have not been blessed with that luxury so.... What I did do was I got a part time job that was flexible with my husbands schedule. On a good week I make 100+ it depends what's going on there but many weeks I don't make that other than when retail gets busy in fall thru the holidays. It's nice to have your own paycheck though you do make some sacrafices like having family time where everyone is home. But the bill collectors do not care if you want to be home with your kids vs a roof over your head. You make it work because you have to.
