i dont know if Drogba will follow Anelka movement..i think AVB still need him..

Let's hope for your sake that De Rossi stays back at Roma. Regarding Drogba, I believe that there is an underlying feeling that the team spirit is flagging with old players not really toeing the team line. So in a way AVB is doing a clearance sale of some of the older players in the team.

Yes, I believe his contract is coming to an end at the end of this season. This is not great for the club as if they do not either tie him up with another contract or sell him to another club, they will end up losing both the player and not making some money out of it as well.
Cheers!

Well to be frank the first 2 transfers really dont excite me but the Anelka move and supossed Drogba move do.. This is a very bold decision by AVB to sell of his forwards as they now have only Sturridge( who has looked good) and a misfiring Torres.. So if Drogba goes it would leave them a little short up front )
But this also shows AVB's faith in Torres as it was clearly seen both Torres and Drogba could not play together and one clearly had to go.. If the rumours are true and if Drogba leaves Torres will have a lot on his plate to live up to his manger's faith in him.. Hope he can find some semblance of form to remind us of the old Torres.

The biggest surprise for me is Anelka's move to Shanghai. No disrespect to the team but this is definitely many steps down for the ex-french international. One could have suspect that the move is more monetary than aspiration. And for the club to pay more than Chelsea, they sure are very rich.

But the list of people who are queuing up for this club is impressive. There is Drogba and then there is Cannavaro who has just signed up for the club. This club is becoming like MLS clubs which are getting marquee players to boost the status of their clubs.
Cheers!
