They had a talk before over the phone and with his brother alone many times but still they insist to buy it. Tomorrow was the set face to face meeting with the manager my husband together with his 2 brother's for this "buying" problem they had in his hometown. It is a 500 square meter lot with 100 square meter ancestral old house on it with detached 5 door apartment. It was located nice along the road and it was inside this rectangular lot of the factory. This is the property inherited from their father who died a long time ago. It's been a year that the factory at their back showed and vocal that they wanted to buy the property for their expansion. My husband together with his 2 siblings and mother were not interested. They want to preserve the good memories they had in there growing but this company makes them pestering and offering. Well, If I have say in the issue, I want it to be sold if they meet my price! Getting practical *LOL... being just a wife of one owner of the property I just let them decide. But I'm hoping for the best! A win-win situation for them though!

It's hard to sell the inheritance especially if there are good memories there. If I am one of the siblings I would not also sell it. I am sure the factory will offer a good price but later on that might cost much more than what they're offering. And building up shop there, like the business you and your husband wanted, will be a good place since you said it's located along the road.

Yes en, it's in a good location... but he's not the only one who will decide on whether to sell it or not. Goodthing for now, their minds are in the same thinking not to sell the place.

That's one of our option en. In which place we decide whether Cavite or Bulacan to settle in time, sure we'll feel at home!

That's good to know then... when you think about settling there, you can move the business you have from Cavite

Well, if you husband and in-laws don't really like to sell the lot, then they can overprice the lot. I am sure that the factory will not relent to a very high price.

I believe that too make sure that the company has a hard time buying the place your husband in law can over price the place, so that just in case in is bought the worth of the place is worth it, in my opinion. Inheritance is to be treasured but if harassment is involved you should sell the place with an outrageous price to compensate for the emotional loss, right???

That's what my husband and his siblings will do for sure. Once and for all, they decided to meet tomorrow for settlement.

If I am in the same position as your husband and his siblings is, I also would not sell the house. Memories along with the great conversations that can be derived from that place are priceless. Your family has the advantage here so hold on to that land for as long as you can. Surely, the factory will immediately grab any opportunity to buy it once you've finally decided to let it go :)
