During my younger years. I hear a lot of songs from beatles in the radio or television. But now sad to say that people now mostly enjoy listening a songs with no thoughts, especially my two sons , They enjoy songs like crazy. Oh my God what happen to our music industry that they accept that kind of music that make people more crazy. Please help us God.

Although I didn't grow up during the time of the Beatles, I absolutely LOVE them. When I was sixteen (16) I was a Beatles-maniac. My Mum used to complain that she had to live through them twice - her sister when she was younger and then me =) Even now, at 34, I still love the Beatles and will often play their music. I have two boys (7 and 5) who love anything that we do. I'll admit that I do like a lot of the songs that feature in the Top 40 and they are great if you want to work out or do housework or just be a little bit of a loony-tune. But, for good songs with lots of meaning, I always play the Beatles. Don't worry, now that Sony own the Lennon-McCartney catalogue, I am sure we will be hearing some of the greats being rehashed. Hopefully not too badly . . . =)

Hi Elisa, Actually, not all the new music is crazy nonsense. I am a fan of the Beatles as well but I have to say that not all their music was "meaningful". Listen to some of the lyrics. I remember back when the Charles Manson murders happened, he used one of the Beatles songs, Helter Skelter as part of his reasoning. As for hearing new songs from the Beatles...that won't be happening. They split apart years ago and two of them have passed on. I think if you search around different music, you will find that not all of it is bad at all.

I agree with you that not all songs that is produced these days are worth listening to. Some of them are just plain noise and only few echoes beautiful lyrics and melody. But then again, it depends on ones references to music. What can be a beautiful music for me, may not be as beautiful for others. I echo your sentiment about wishing to hear new songs from Beatles. They are one of the bands I adore although I am still young. I admire the way they created their music. No wonder that even today, those songs are still widely celebrated.
