Lesner Faked It!

I don't have any kind of real proof of this, besides what I saw on his last UFC fight. He seemed pretty good when he came into this fight, even after the problems he had been having with mono and everything else, he had gotten back into training, shaping up his body again, and getting a huge dose of new techniques and skills through training with the best people possible. Then, he has this last fight. I felt like he was seeming a bit out of it from fairly early in the whole thing... maybe even around 4:30, his takedown attempts were weak, some of his hits looked really good, but they weren't anything amazing, and then from a couple of kicks to the midsection, he was just out of it. He fell to the ground and gave up. It takes a hell of a lot for a fighter to give up like that... and I've never seen it so quick, either. I feel like Lesner was paid a huge sum of money for this fight, and he just wanted to screw over the UFC and Dana White, and call it quits early in the whole thing. He even said at the end of the fight, that he had planned to retire after that fight... even though that fight was to see who would be going for the heavyweight title. He quickly corrected himself, but I think that was a freudian slip. He didn't want to say it, but he couldn't help it. I don't mind that he's gone. Honestly, I wasn't a fan of Brock Lesner... I was extra happy when he came out with his quick start, and was still beaten in the first round by Frank Mir, with a pretty basic leg lock, but it showed that Lesner really didn't know what the hell he was doing. Lesner was amazing in college wrestling, and once he went to the WWE, that was it... Lesner is just full of BS.

This is my honest belief on the entire thing. After Mark Callaway (The Undertaker) was sitting in the audience at a UFC fight that had Brock in it and asked Brock "you wanna do this" initially Brock refused it. But when he came down with that second case of diverticulitis; he made the decision then that if he got better he would go back to wrestling. His wife most likely played a big part in that because she was also involved in wrestling; Brock being the second wrestler that she ultimately married. When Brock returned to UFC he figures that he would give it another go but when he started losing again that was the final straw; he was definitely going to return to the WWE. Another major factor of why he left? UFC bought Strikeforce, meaning sooner or later Brock Lesnar would have to face Bobby Lashley; another former wrestler. But Bobby Lashley trained in MMA well before he left the WWE. So conclusions from that mean that Brock Lesnar would have really gotten his butt handed to him. These are just my opinions though; the buyout of Strikeforce plus the losing streak was just too much for him.

I agree with you 100%. It seemed like he was scared and just didnt want to fight anymore as oppose to actually being hurt. To go down after a couple of kicks to the stomach I would expect a 265 pound beast to have bruised abs and a broken rib cage, but Lesnar was fine. We talked about his retirement and all that crap like he had just gone for a run not like someone just beat the tar out of him. I was so mad. Screw Lesnar.
